Openbravo recommends all its Partners and End Clients to work with releases that have reached the CS status since Openbravo can warrant its stability which we consider key for a mission critical software solution like Openbravo.

New Functional Features
CRM connector (Openbravo Commerce Central)
This new feature allows Openbravo to connect to external CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems in an easy and transparent way. The customer’s personal data is never stored locally in Openbravo and the user experience is similar to the standard behavior.
Discounts improvements (Openbravo Commerce Central)
The new release includes the following improvements in the discounting engine.
- Combo discounts with product fixed price: Now it is possible to declare a specific price for each product on each family.
- Improvements in discounts characteristics filter: Now it is possible to separately define characteristic values that allow a discount to be applied to a product, and characteristic values that exclude a product from receiving a discount.
Country Localizations (Openbravo Commerce Central)
The following country localizations have been officially added and will be maintained by Openbravo:
French Localization for France: translation, regions, payment terms, payment methods, taxes definition and eco tax management. Read more.

Safe boxes (Openbravo Store)
A safe box is a non fixed drawer assigned to a cashier. The use of safe boxes allow retailers to increase control in their opening and closing processes, since each cashier is responsible of their own drawer during a shift. Cashiers moving from one terminal to another will also take with her their safe box.
New payment platform connectors (Openbravo Store)
Two new payment platforms have been added to be used from the Openbravo POS:
Nexo/EPAS payment gateway. Read more.
Ingenico Axis C3 payment gateway. Read more.
Cross-docking (Openbravo WMS)
Cross-docking is a functionality of Openbravo WMS that allows to optimize inventory operations by deviating received goods directly to the shipping area when there is an order pending to be picked for the same day.
Cross-docking allows to bypass the task of putting-away the goods into storage and then perform a picking, thus maximizing efficiency in the number of tasks required to prepare an order.
New Platform Features
Retail API
This new release includes a new webservices-based API. It allows to export and import master data information (including products, prices, characteristics, assortment configuration, and customer information) from and to Openbravo, and it also allows to import orders (using the ExternalOrderLoader), and export them (using the new ExportOrder endpoint). The new API is documented using Swagger.
