Empowering sports retail
Fittest Freakest was created in 2015 to cater to the specialized needs of fitness and performance sports enthusiasts. Its Barcelona store offers a wide range of fitness, cross-training and weightlifting apparel, footwear and accessories. The company also has a fast-growing online business.
In addition to its retail activities, the store incorporates a dedicated gym space for customers to test products. Fittest Freakest has created an active and growing community of fitness enthusiasts through a network of affiliates who have exclusive access to Fittest Freakest discounts and events.
The Challenges
Reducing the IT footprint
Fittest Freakest wanted to upgrade its point-of-sale system to a cloud-based solution so it would not have to have dedicated hardware and staff to manage its IT systems.

Openbravo’s solution includes as standard a broad set of functionalities that retailers need. These include a fully web and mobile POS solution, inventory management with real-time stock visibility, customer management, clienteling capabilities and loyalty program management, as well as a powerful discount and promotions engine and support for a variety of omnichannel shopping scenarios.
Modular design
Fittest Freakest was attracted to Openbravo Commerce Cloud’s modular design, which has allowed implementation partner Practics Business Solutions to easily add new functionality and integrate with third-party software, such as its Prestashop eCommerce engine, using the wide range of available connectors.
