Openbravo presents latest unified commerce innovations at Retail Forum 2023

On March 28th, Openbravo will participate in a new edition of Retail Forum 2023, at IFEMA Madrid, organized by IKN. This edition, number 11, is expected to be attended by more than 1,500 retail professionals, with more than 100 speakers due to participate in sessions throughout the day and with more than 70 technology companies presenting  their solutions for companies in the retail sector.

CEO Hub with 21 Spanish retail CEOs

The day before, Openbravo will participate as a sponsor of the CEO Hub, an event that will bring together 21 leading Spanish retail CEOs. With the presence of Marco de Vries, CEO of Openbravo, who will share the day with CEOs from brands such as Conforama, Norauto, Forum Sport or Alain Afflelou among others, we will discuss key issues in the strategy of any retailer today such as talent management, changes in consumer habits, innovation and technology or sustainability.

Our latest news at Booth #31

On the 28th, Openbravo will be present at booth #31, where visitors will be able to chat with our team to learn and discover the latest news about Openbravo Commerce Cloud, Openbravo’s unified commerce platform in the cloud and its store solutions, Openbravo Store, Openbravo OMS for order management or Openbravo WMS for warehouse management.

They will hear about the new features aimed at fashion retail, with new capabilities for our store and point-of-sale solution. These include new types of promotions and discounts, improved stock management in scenarios such as the end of  campaign or season, or improvements in the service module, with extended functionality for the management of modifications, from the initial request to delivery to the customer.

Visitors will also be able to discover the benefits of Openbravo POS, a single solution to support a variety of touchpoint types, such as traditional, mobile or self-service terminals, as well as to enable more convenient payment options for retailers and customers, such as Tap-to-Pay, which avoids the need for payment terminals.

Also on show are capabilities that allow today’s stores to develop their new role as omnichannel preparation centers, with built-in support for scenarios like Click & CollectShip-from-Store or cross-store scenarios. All this functionality is delivered on a fully web and cloud architecture, which eliminates the need for local servers and permits offline operation to guarantee uninterrupted sales.

Visitors will also be able to discover our mobile inventory management solutions for in-store and in-warehouse use, which enable a higher degree of stock accuracy and increase employee productivity. These are key requirements today for more profitable unified retail operations.

New stage for Openbravo within the French group DL Software

Retail Forum 2023 will be the company’s first opportunity to present our solutions in Spain following our incorporation last November into the French group DL Software, which has been a great boost to our growth strategy.

Founded in 2003, DL Software is made up of 23 companies organized into four business units (Retail, Real Estate, Healthcare and Construction) and has more than 1,500 employees in 6 countries (France, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and Israel).
