Openbravo Commerce Cloud Q1-2020 Release

All releases are published in the QA Approved (QAA) maturity status and they are promoted to Confirmed Stable (CS) status after 2 months in average. Openbravo recommends all its Partners and End Clients to work with releases that have reached the CS status since Openbravo can warrant its stability which we consider key for a mission critical software solution like Openbravo.

New functional features
New Web POS Skin and Skinability
A new skin has been developed and the look and feel of the application has been updated. This new skin comes with the new and powerful skinability feature, which makes possible to update most of the POS UI elements by simply using CSS coding.
Customer 360 View (Phase II)
The purpose of this customer view improvements is show additional customer information in the Customer Details , Edit Customer and New Customer forms, including transactional information such as customer receipt activity, as well as gift cards & vouchers information (in case gift cards module is installed).
Epson RT Printer Fiscal Integration
A new module that adds support for the Epson RT 90III Printer. The Epson RT 90III Printer is a device that follows the Italy fiscal rules for RT Printers. It allows the creation of fiscal receipts and fiscal reports. This integration also includes the use of the customer display and cash drawer attached to the Epson RT 90III.
DQM Framework
A new infrastructure in Customer and Customer Address forms to support integrations to external providers of specialized solutions for optimizing data quality, data such as customer address, phone or email. This infrastructure allow validations and suggestions, through webservice, a simple code function or a query to the database.
New platform features
Updated Quartz library
Quartz is the library used for background process scheduling. It has been updated to its latest release 2.30.
Improved password storage
A more secure algorithm is used to store passwords in Database.
Remove old costing engine
Legacy cost engine is removed and a new build validation is included to make sure Costing Migration Process was run before updating the instance.
OMS: Order Status Management
Add order status management feature to the OMS engine. This allows organizations to reject in a controlled way the OMS proposal and to launch new OMS run. A background process is implemented to automatically evaluate rejected orders using OMS engine, to find different store(s) that can fulfill it.
JavaScript test infrastructure
New infrastructure to implement test cases for JavaScript.
Raise minimum System Stack
Updated minimum system requirements to: Tomcat 8.5, PostgreSQL 10.
Reporting server
Based on Jaspersoft, it allows to create customized reports with high volumes of data.
