Cross-docking (Openbravo WMS)
Cross-docking is a functionality of Openbravo WMS that allows to optimize inventory operations by deviating received goods directly to the shipping area when there is an order pending to be picked for the same day.
Cross-docking allows to bypass the task of putting-away the goods into storage and then perform a picking, thus maximizing efficiency in the number of tasks required to prepare an order.
New Platform Features
This new release includes a new webservices-based API. It allows to export and import master data information (including products, prices, characteristics, assortment configuration, and customer information) from and to Openbravo, and it also allows to import orders (using the ExternalOrderLoader), and export them (using the new ExportOrder endpoint). The new API is documented using Swagger.
