Position Overview

Openbravo is looking for a dynamic UI/UX designer who will be responsible for the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design of our various digital assets. You will ensure that all elements of the online user experience are optimized for improved usability, usefulness, and exceptional visual design.

 

The successful candidate will evidence a passion for delivering adaptive and creative solutions to UI/UX design problems by staying up to date with best practices and emerging trends in user experience design and user interface technology.

 

The position is based in Pamplona. Flexible working hours and a pool of days for remote working.

 

Position Responsibilities

The main mission of the UX/UI Designer is to:

 

Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with consultants, product managers and engineers.
Research customers, competitors, and products.
Illustrate design ideas using personas, scenarios, user stories, storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.
Design graphic user interface elements including design for accessibility standards.
Develop UI wireframes, high-fidelity mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how features function and look like.
Create and maintain documentation like functional requirements, user guides and style guides.
Present work to key stakeholders.
Develop and implement usability testing to make adjustments based on results.
Identify and troubleshoot UX problems.
Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images.

Position Requirements

The professional we are seeking should have:

 

→ BSc in Fine Arts, Design, Industrial Design, Computer Science or related field.
A minimum of 2 years UI/UX design experience for digital products or services.
A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms.
Proficiency working with a wireframe/design/prototyping tool (preferably with Figma).
Up-to-date knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Knowledge of CSS, Javascript (React) will be valued.
Analytical thinking  and be detail-oriented.
Good knowledge on Jira and Confluence tools
Experience working with Agile methodologies (SCRUM)
Ability to meet/beat deadlines under pressure in a dynamic environment.
Initiative to learn, research, and gather new ideas.
Adaptability to work as team player but also work independently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
English mandatory, French or Spanish will be a plus
Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
