Openbravo is looking for a Security & IT Systems Manager to design and implement the Security and IT Systems measures of the Company.
You will be responsible for the identification and evaluation of regulatory requirements in the security and IT areas, proactively working with all other departments across locations in the Company to implement practices that meet the security standards in the industry.
You will be responsible for the research and updates of emerging security threats, technologies and certifications to improve the Company’s position in terms of security and compliance.
You will be responsible for managing the Openbravo IT Systems (hardware, software, networking, user support, remote users).
The position is preferably based in Barcelona and will report directly to the Legal Counsel.
The function of the Security & IT Systems Manager has the following key areas of responsibility.
→ Help the Company define and establish the Security and IT Systems strategy and policies and keep them up-to-date coordinating efforts across the Company towards recognized industry standards.
→ Lead the implementation of the programs defined in the Security and IT Systems strategy and policies, guaranteeing the information security compliance from:
Any information asset owned by the company.
Any software and technology delivered by the company, acting as a liaison between the Software Engineering team and other areas of the Company to ensure adequate security solutions are in place (including in solutions developed by Openbravo, i.e., define, maintain and follow-up the Security Development Life Cycle of the Company).
Processes and activities from all employees and subcontractors, and other third parties if applicable.
→ Prepare & deliver training sessions for the different business units in the organization in security measures to raise awareness and ensure compliance, acting as the security expert of the Company.
→ Be the single point of contact to interact with the Security Directors or Security Analyst of customers or other third-parties.
→ Act as the risk manager for any day-to-day activity and in third-party contractual relationships.
→ Collaborate with the Country Compliance Director and the Legal Counsel in managing external audits by supervisory authorities or other third parties.
→ Lead any security certification process (ISO 27001, GDPR, ENS…) or the security audit processes implemented in the different projects with customers.
→ Lead IT System department, including:
Manage existing and plan future IT equipment.
Manage existing network, Openbravo server and their applications (i.e. WordPress, GLPI, MediaWiki, Moodle, Testlink).
IT Coordination with 3rd parties.
The professional we are seeking:
→ Experience (5+ years) in the field of Security and IT and cybersecurity.
→ Experience in vulnerability management and incident management.
→ Solid engineering background with knowledge in securing OS (Linux, Windows), cloud architectures (AWS, Azure) and web application infrastructure.
→ A solid understanding of risk management frameworks.
→ Knowledge of common information security management frameworks and ideally demonstrable experience implementing security compliance policies (e.g., ISO 27001).
→ Strong communication skills – adapting your style to different target audiences (including non-technical audiences) – including good client communication skills, having been used to working in a client setting.
→ A strong analytical thinker with a focus on project delivery, strong organization, planning and time management skills.
→ Team player, with natural leadership skills, very proactive and able to work autonomously.
→ Flexible with the ability to adapt rapidly to changing circumstances in a fast paced environment.
→ Fully proficient to work in English. Spanish and at least conversational French are a big plus.
→ Has availability to travel as required for the success of the business.
