To do so Openbravo builds collaborative commercial relationships with specialty retailers and restaurant chains active in the Spanish market and potentially with an international presence.
As part of our growth strategy Openbravo is hiring a Sales Manager to drive sales by winning new names to help grow our market share in Spain and in the rest of Southern Europe .
As a Sales Manager you are an individual contributor with as primary responsibility to build a pipeline of prospects and win new clients from the ecosystem of brands & retailers.
The main mission of the Sales Manager is to:
→Acquire deep knowledge of the Openbravo portfolio of solutions, products and services, and become a subject matter expert in the Openbravo value proposition
→Continuously research the market to identify trends, follow brands & retailers as well as to track competitive dynamics
With the sales & marketing leadership build a strategic prospecting plan to build a large and growing pipeline, driving steady sales growth from the Spain region by winning new names
→Work side-by-side with the marketing team to generate sales leads, being involved in business and marketing event, and public speaking where appropriate
→Establish continuous communication lines with prospects to identify their key business challenges and offer the Openbravo solutions as a differentiated response to those needs
→Build relations with existing clients based on mutual trust and a collaborative approach to strengthen their partnerships with Openbravo with the objective to protect and grow recurring revenue streams from our client portfolio
→Whenever applicable, work closely with Openbravo Partners to develop prospects and client accounts together
→Throughout all stages of the sales cycle work closely with the Presales team to effectively present Openbravo’s features and to demo the product
→Grow revenue from the Spanish retail market, be a key team member and positive contributor to the sales strategy, and be able to represent the results in Spain to the leadership team
→Deliver and manage your sales projections, maintaining accurate and timely reporting, by effective use of CRM and related systems, and support Finance in managing accounts receivables for your client portfolio
The professional we are seeking:
→Should have +5 years of experience of selling mission-critical software within the Retail sector
→Should possess a track record of success in retail and/or restaurant software sales
→Will bring to the job an extensive network of contacts in the retail market at decision maker level
→Should have strong presenter skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
→In addition, they should have persuasive negotiation skills, high standards of integrity and professionalism
→Is people-oriented with excellent relationship building skills
→Is flexible with the ability to adapt rapidly as needed in a fast paced environment
→Is proficient in English and Spanish. Other languages like French are a plus
→Is available to travel as required for the success of the business
