RBEWC Puts the Focus on Retail and Brand Experience in Barcelona

2 min read

Starting next week, Barcelona will be the center for all that is related to retail and brand experience when the Spanish city hosts, for the first time, the Retail & Brand Experience World Congress, which will be held 27-29th of May.

For its inaugural edition, the Retail and Brand Experience World Congress (RBEWC) expects to draw 6,000 visitors and will offer insight from some of the most renowned retailers including IKEA, Carrefour, Muji, Levi’s, Ali Baba and Corte Ingles.

Openbravo will have a stand at the event and we believe that RBEWC should not be missed by anyone interested in the new dynamics of retail and  the changing role of physical stores.

Indeed, Openbravo CEO Marco de Vries will be speaking on this theme in a panel session on May 29 entitled, “Digital needs bricks & mortar and vice-versa.”

Why retailers should attend RBEWC

As well as a packed conference agenda, retailers will have the opportunity to speak with industry experts and get their advice about technologies, strategies, and implementation at the trade show exhibition, where Openbravo will be ready to talk with potential customers at Stand B206.

They will also get to see technologies in action with organized retail safaris highlighting the best examples of future retail in Barcelona, including one of Openbravo’s own customers, lifestyle product purveyor Si Vas Descalzo.

For retailers that are looking to grow and step up their game, this is the perfect forum to attend. They will be able to see and hear firsthand the results experienced by big brands and retailers who’ve implemented innovative digital strategies successfully.

Why Barcelona?

Barcelona has a highly developed retail sector and is also recognized for being a technological hub, which makes it the ideal location to foster partnerships between retailers and technology providers, many of which already have a presence here.

Spain is home to some the biggest brands including Zara, Mango, Manolo Blahnik, and Adolfo Dominguez, and Barcelona has a reputation as a shopper’s dream. The world’s most recognizable brands line Passeig de Gracia –  the city’s answer to New York’s  Fifth Avenue – while countless boutiques, galleries and concept stores inhabit its most exclusive neighborhoods.
