Openbravo explores new opportunities in India’s retail market at IRF 2016
We are very excited to be once again attending the India Retail Forum, which this year will be held from September 21-22 2016 at the Renaissance Hotel & Convention Centre in Mumbai.
India is the world´s fifth largest retail market and is expected to reach $1.2 trillion by 2020. IRF 2016 is India´s largest retail exhibition and it offers an unparalleled opportunity to learn about new technologies and retailing trends from the thought leaders in India’s retailing world via more than 30 conference sessions and workshops, as well as informal networking opportunities.
The event will have over 200 speakers and more than 100 exhibitors showcasing the latest innovations for the retail sector.
The second India Omnichannel Forum will be held as a concurrent event with the India Retail Forum 2016. This event aims to create a tailored, unique forum from which to explore the innovations and technologies available to provide a seamless omnichannel experience.
After a very interesting experience participating in last year’s panel discussion on bridging on- and off-line retail operations, I am delighted to have been asked to join this year’s panel for a session entitled ‘True Omnichannel Experience – Redefining the Possibilities of What can be Done on a Four-Inch Screen.’ The session takes place on September 21 2016 at 16:50.
The panelists – including experts in digital strategy, retail technology, and developers – will be discussing strategies for greater consumer engagement, including what works best for driving revenues and how to optimize the omnichannel experience and streamline store operations.
Supporting India´s drive for “Retail Anytime, Anywhere”
In the face of this 24/7 omnichannel digital age, retailers are readier than ever to explore cross-channel strategies that help them manage operations more efficiently and capitalize on their increasingly mobile consumer base.
Our experience with customers in India’s retail sector, such as Decathlon Sports India, has played an important role in tailoring solutions to the needs of the Indian market. Openbravo Commerce Suite has also been selected by several other leading retailers in India including M&B Footwear (Lee Cooper distributor), Oxford Bookstore, and APCO.
Ready-to-roll Retail Solutions
This year´s India Omnichannel Forum is the perfect place for the Openbravo team to reinforce its commitment to India´s expanding market and engage with increasingly progressive retailers.
In addition to key team members from our office in Kolkata and representatives from our partners in India, we will also be joined by Francesc Comas, Partner Management Director from our headquarters in Barcelona.
We look forward to meeting retailers to demonstrate how our solutions can help them streamline the management of their business, create next-generation consumer experiences and capitalize on the growing trend for mobile commerce. Our team is also available to meet with potential ERP partners or resellers looking to extend their solutions catalogue.
Please visit Openbravo at Booth #C26, where we will be demonstrating the scalable omnichannel capabilities and mobile POS functionalities of Openbravo Commerce Suite software solution.
