During the 5-day training, Openbravo aims to provide a good understanding of Openbravo ERP features, and the configuration of its master data.

Conference Schedule
The 5-day training includes 2 modules from our Customized Training offering to make up the Basic Functional Training seminar: Introduction to Openbravo and Functional Features. The high level of the agenda is as follows:
- Day 1: Introduction to Openbravo, Openbravo ERP User Interface, Procurement Mgmt. and Warehouse Mgmt.
- Day 2: Sales/CRM Mgmt. and Production Mgmt.
- Day 3: Material Resource Planning, Project Mgmt.
- Day 4: Financial Mgmt., "Implementing Openbravo": Initial Configuration & Master Data Mgmt.
- Day 5: Case Study.
Fundamental training class for any consultant or developer interested in extending or building enterprise applications using Openbravo ERP. The class takes both a conceptual examination of the Openbravo ERP architecture and a practical view of what a developer needs to design and build after they have installed Openbravo ERP.
Course Objective
The objective of Basic Development Training is to give both technical and functional consultants, developers, and any trainee the chance to learn the fundamental knowledge required to perform a basic Openbravo ERP implementation. If you are looking to gain a concrete and practical understanding of the Openbravo ERP development methodology and architecture, then this is the class for you.
Conference Schedule
The 5-day training course can be split into 4 distinct areas of study: 'Configuration and System Design after Installation', 'Conceptual examination of Openbravo ERP Architecture', 'The Application Dictionary and the Model Data Driven approach to Application Generation', and 'Building Reports'.
Most of the class lessons include exercises and the class concludes with a long exercise which consolidates all the week's material.
- Day 1: Welcome and Introduction, Openbravo Usability, Technical Setup, Configuration Design and Implementation
- Day 2: Configuration Design and Implementation (continued), Architectural Foundation, The Application Dictionary
- Day 3: Modularity, Application Dictionary Development
- Day 4: Architectural Components (including the Data Access Layer DAL), Building Application Reports (Jasper Reports)
- Day 5: Alerts and Background Processes, Final Long Exercise
Course Objective
By the end of the course, the student should gain an in-depth knowledge of how Openbravo ERP can be customized and extended through modules. Model driven as well as manual development will be discussed through a real-life scenario and numerous hands-on exercises.
Target Audience & Requirements
Aimed at developers with good knowledge of Java (or another object oriented language) and SQL, as well as fundamentals of web applications, HTML and source control.

Course Objective
During the 5-week training, Openbravo aims to provide a good understanding of Openbravo ERP user interface, most of its features, and the configuration of its master data.
If you need to extensively evaluate our product, give a demo of the application or see how Openbravo ERP might fit within your organization, this is the course for you.
A basic understanding of enterprise software is beneficial but not required.

Roughly
35 hours of self study across 5 weeks is required from the student to complete this course. The training agenda is as follows:

Course Objective
The objective of the Basic Technical Training is to give partners and consultants the chance to learn the fundamental technical knowledge required to perform a basic Openbravo ERP implementation. By the end of the course the student will have implemented and packaged a complete real life instance of Openbravo ERP application according to a fictitious customer requirements given.
Target Audience & Requirements
This course is aimed at potential and current partners, consultants, developers, or any trainee required to learn the skills needed for a basic implementation of Openbravo ERP.
The following skills are required:
- basic functional knowledge of Openbravo ERP
- good knowledge of SELECT queries (SQL)
- basic system and database administration
- no programming!
- ERP consulting experience is a considerable plus
Course Schedule
This course is designed as a self-study activity with practical assignments supported by live chat sessions (available in different time zones) and forums tutored by Openbravo training specialists. Roughly 40 hours over 2 weeks (i.e. 20h per week) of student dedication is required to complete this course. The training agenda is as follows:
