Fundamental training class for any consultant or developer interested in extending or building enterprise applications using Openbravo ERP. The class takes both a conceptual examination of the Openbravo ERP architecture and a practical view of what a developer needs to design and build after they have installed Openbravo ERP.
Course Objective
The objective of Basic Development Training is to give both technical and functional consultants, developers, and any trainee the chance to learn the fundamental knowledge required to perform a basic Openbravo ERP implementation. If you are looking to gain a concrete and practical understanding of the Openbravo ERP development methodology and architecture, then this is the class for you.
Conference Schedule
The 5-day training course can be split into 4 distinct areas of study: 'Configuration and System Design after Installation', 'Conceptual examination of Openbravo ERP Architecture', 'The Application Dictionary and the Model Data Driven approach to Application Generation', and 'Building Reports'.
Most of the class lessons include exercises and the class concludes with a long exercise which consolidates all the week's material.
- Day 1: Welcome and Introduction, Openbravo Usability, Technical Setup, Configuration Design and Implementation
- Day 2: Configuration Design and Implementation (continued), Architectural Foundation, The Application Dictionary
- Day 3: Modularity, Application Dictionary Development
