Conference Schedule
The 5 days training resolves around the theory as well as development of a small functional extension of Openbravo:
- Day 1: Review of Basic Development and Openbravo internals (data model, source structures). Design of new tables and windows.
- Day 2: Callouts and PL Processes (stored procedures).
- Day 3: PL Processes (continued) and Advanced MVC Reporting.
- Day 4: Forms & Action Buttons, HttpBaseServlet.
- Day 5: Additional Examples (OpenbravoPOS, Selectors, Data Import). Q&A session for further explanations and discussion of solutions to potential problems.

B0 - Introduction to Openbravo (8 hours - Open to the general public)
The course is an introduction to Openbravo at a user, functional, and developmental level. Each section is designed as an introduction to the topics and is delivered in a modular format. This means that there is the opportunity to pick and choose exactly what will be useful to learn. The content in detail is:
- Section One: Using Openbravo - Learn about the interface and how to navigate through the system:
- Logging in to OB.
- Application Menu.
- Editing Window.
- Section Two: Introduction to OB Functionalities - A basic explanation regarding what Openbravo can do in a given area and how. Areas covered include the following:
- Initial Configuration & Master Data Management.
- Procurement Management.
- Warehouse Management.
- Sales Management.
- Production Management.
- Economic & Financial Management.
- Section Three: Architecture - An introduction to Development:
- Standards and Software Stack.
- Model Driven Development (MDD).
- Model, View, Controller (MVC).

- Some sections on development are meant for those with a basic development background.
