An ERP Installer helps users to install the Openbravo ERP software in a variety of operating systems. Other components of the stack must be installed separately.

An Appliance Installer guides users through the process to deploy the entire Openbravo ERP stack. Minimal technical expertise is required to install the entire Openbravo ERP solution using the Appliance Installer.

With a Software Appliance, all required components come "in a box." This includes the operating system, database and application - configured to deploy a fine-tuned Openbravo ERP system.

All editions can be deployed on virtual environments. VMware and Citrix XenServer virtual appliances are available for some editions.

Other hypervisors such as Parallels, KVM, Amazon EC2 or Microsoft Virtual Server can be supported.

The stack comes pre-configured as a software appliance meaning that it is installed right out of the box. As such, Openbravo also certifies that these tools together will run an optimized solution immediately.

This edition includes a bug fixing service, with SLAs based on severity levels.

Customers of this edition receive support and updates for their release, without the need to upgrade to a new release during the contract period.

This edition comes packaged with a guaranteed response time and target resolution time to bug requests and installation issues. All required support is provided through the Openbravo Support Team. Support requests can be requested directly by the Web Based Administration Console, or via a special setup offered to certain Network edition users.

Openbravo Network system administrators are sent notifications of each maintenance update or upgrade as soon as it becomes available. Where available, updates or upgrades are automatically accessible from the Web Based Administration Console.

System administrators may may find out about and manually perform stack updates and upgrades. There is a special setup offered to certain Network edition users.

Some editions come with access to a Web Based Administration Console. If so, system administrators are sent notification of each maintenance update or upgrade as soon as it becomes available. This allows the ERP to always remain up to date with the latest security features, without the need to search or stay up to date with Openbravo. All updates or upgrades sent to the console or to Network edition users are guaranteed to have been tested by the Openbravo Support Team.
