Openbravo Basic Edition is for small organizations who are piloting or using Openbravo Community Edition.

Through open source, Openbravo is able to bring modern, web-based ERP to organizations of all sizes, worldwide. However, maintaining and customizing a rapidly-evolving ERP from sources is not a wise time investment for most. And while they are able to go live with some portion of the ERP functionality, many Community Edition users lack the expertise to optimize and sustain the system over time.
Openbravo Basic Edition is a subscription service that makes your existing open source ERP simple to maintain and extend in a managed way, saving time & money, and reducing risk. It allows you to easily keep your release 2.50 or 3.0 ERP instance up to date on a monthly basis, and opens up a whole new world of available commercial functionality that you can tap into to improve your organization’s efficiency and effectiveness. Additional Functionality
The Advanced Payables & Receivables Management module provides dramatic improvements to Openbravo’s payment work flows, while important country-specific functionality is available through access to the growing list of Professional Localization Packs.

Pricing
Openbravo Basic Edition is available directly from Openbravo, on a subscription basis. The fee is assessed annually per concurrent user, as follows:
- 365€ (or $365, with the currency dependent on the region), for the first 3 concurrent users
- 365€/$ for each additional concurrent user, up to 2 additional
- Minimum of 3 concurrent users, maximum of 5 total concurrent users
- No limitations placed on the number of "named users"
- Note that 3 concurrent users can often support 5 to 8 named users, depending on the usage patterns

Buy
Start the buying process now in our own instance of Openbravo ERP.
- A simple wizard will walk you through the process, which accepts payment online via credit card.
- To buy access to an additional commercial module (for example, a professional localization pack), please click on the banner again to re-enter the wizard.
- Based on your Tax Id, the additional module will be added to your Openbravo Basic Edition subscription.
Activate
You will be emailed your own system key, which you use to activate your system.
Apply Latest Maintenance Pack
To access and apply the latest maintenance pack for your release, back up your system and then do this:
- Log into your Openbravo ERP system using the System Administrator role
- Access the General Setup -> Application -> Module Management option
- Click Scan for Updates
- Follow the on-screen directions
To be notified by email when a new maintenance pack is made available (usually monthly), please send a blank e-mail to the update distribution list. When you receive an email announcing the availability of a new maintenance pack, follow the above directions. Note that if updates are available for any of the modules you have installed, clicking “Scan for Updates” will highlight them, and you should generally install them.
