Training Specialist
Position Overview
We are seeking a talented, driven and experienced Training Specialist with 1 or more years of relevant experience to join our Educational Services team. Position can be based in Barcelona or Pamplona, Spain. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in building and delivering training for a commercial software vendor or similar and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain training materials.
  • Conduct classroom and web-based Openbravo training programs.
  • Assess and identify internal and external client training opportunities.
  • Configure and manage all business applications specific to training.
  • Coordinate classroom schedules, logistics and student enrollment.
  • Travel to training delivery locations as per company requirements.
Skills Required:
  • Demonstrated technical training experience in delivering customer and/or partner training programs.
  • Experience with instructor-led as well as web-based instruction.
  • Demonstrable experience with business applications, notably ERPs and CRMs.
  • Field experience, and technology background, specially in web based environments (Apache Tomcat, Java, HTML...) and databases (Oracle, SQL...) is required.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with other functional groups.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Spanish is a plus) and strong leadership abilities.
Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Management, Computer Science or Information Systems and/or equivalent work experience is preferred.
  • Professional Training Certification is a plus.
