To further strengthen our finance function we are currently seeking a talented Accounting Manager. He/she will manage our accounting function and our externalized accounting and fiscal teams. This position involves active participation in and supervision of internal auditing, control of fiscal records and issues, internal and external controls, cash and subsides management. The accounting manager will report to the CFO based preferably in Pamplona.

Position Responsibilities
The function of Accounting Manager has the following key areas of responsibility:
- Coordinate general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Ensure compliance with all accounting and legal functions
- Assist as needed in preparation and coordination of all financial reports, including cash flow, profit & loss statements, and balance sheet as well as performance indicators, in a timely and accurate manner
- Plan, organize and manage the firmīs fiscal functions and position
- Manage and control payroll and labor-related costs
- Fixed assets / capital expenditure analysis and budgeting
- Management of government subsidies and grants
- Manage internal and external audits
- Act as a backup to the Controller as needed
- Supervise all assigned finance and accounting support staff
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
- Masters degree in finance and accounting or economics, or chartered accountant.
- Minimum of 3 years solid experience in finance and accounting, preferably in an international organization in the technology and software industry.
- Extensive knowledge of Spanish accounting standards and taxation is required.
- Extensive knowledge of FASB, US-GAAP/IFRS, Sarbanes-Oxley and international tax laws.
- Experience with consolidation of financial statements in a multi-currency environment.
- Experience in management of subsidies and grants is a plus.
- Strong analytical, numerical and reasoning skills.
- Well developed interpersonal skills, and participative work-style.
- High self-starter level and capability to work independently.
- Fluency in English and Spanish (oral and written) is a must.
- Extensive experience in commonly used accounting systems, ERP systems, and MS Office Suite is required.
