What’s in Store for Paris Retail Week 2017?

Openbravo is delighted to be returning to Paris Retail Week, now in its third edition and taking place at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles on the 19 – 21st of September 2017.  As the largest exhibition for physical and on-line retailers in Europe, this event provides a 360-degree perspective on how retailers can thrive and grow in today’s omnichannel era.

This year’s underlying theme will emphasize the synergy between offline and online retailing, bringing extra focus on integrated omnichannel solutions like Openbravo Commerce Suite. The launch conference will also highlight the potential for technology to add authenticity to the relationship between brand and customer, a theme we have experienced first-hand with our retail POS solution.

Where Retail’s Biggest Decision-makers Go to Shop

France is home to some of the most well-known brands, from Louis Vuitton and L’Oreal to Galeries Lafayette and Carrefour. As a world-famous shopping destination, Paris is the ideal place for the largest European expos of tools and technologies for retailers themselves.

Paris Retail Week brings together two increasingly interconnected events: first, E-Commerce Paris, the biggest cross-channel event in Europe, and then Digital(in)Store,  a trade show devoted to the digitization of points of sale and distribution.

With 600 companies and 30,000 visitors expected to attend Paris Retail Week this year, this event provides an excellent platform to introduce decision-makers to Openbravo Commerce Suite and develop new projects. Based on last year’s figures, seven out of ten visitors to the exhibition came with investment projects in mind, and three quarters found the solution they were looking for by the time they left.

This year, Openbravo is thrilled to present its strongest product offering yet, a robust store solution which can be scaled up from a mobile, cloud-ready Retail POS into a full Retail Management solution, with new features including built-in modules for Demand Forecasting, Inventory and Supply Chain Management.

As in previous years, we will be joined by Phidias, our Gold Partner in France, with whom we work to provide solutions for French clients including BUT, a leader in home furnishings with 300 stores and 4,000 POS. Openbravo is also proud to be chosen by leading French sports retailer for their expansion into India, opening over 40 Decathlon India stores over two years.
