Leading Retailers Look Fashion Forward in Madrid at IFF 2018

2 min read

Openbravo will be attending the second edition of the Innovation Fashion Forum in Madrid on Thursday, July 5, organized by modaes.

Geared towards professionals involved in the digital transformation of fashion companies, the success of the first edition of IFF proved there was much interest for an event where aspects such as technological innovation, fashion in the digital environment, virtual reality, and future trends can be addressed.

Spain’s leading international fashion brands continue to invest and push the boundaries with technologies that are redefining the retail sector today, and we at Openbravo are obviously proud to be a part of that trend.

What we are looking forward to this year

Spain is home to leading international fashion brands who have really embraced innovation to drive their brand and customer experience. The MHE Consumer’s Omnichannel Index 2018 showed that Spain has strong omnichannel performers, with fashion at the forefront. Moreover, it shows that the initiatives that Spanish retailers have incorporated the most are those that integrate the physical store with a mobile app relating to Payment methods, Click & Collect and Real-time availability of stock.

This year’s theme, “(Re) Thinking fashion: piensa diferente, hazlo diferente,” is focused on the new paradigms of a sector in full transformation and the technologies that will continue to drive change and adaptation in the Fashion retail sector.

Speakers from Pepe Jeans, L’Oréal, Desigual, Mango, Tavex, Facebook, and others will offer their perspective on what stores will look like, how the consumer decision-making process will change, and how the value of brands will be transmitted across channels in 2050.

I will be attending IFF and so I look forward to this opportunity to listen and learn from some of the most forward-thinking retailers in fashion today, so that we can grow in parallel with our current and future customers.
