Sales & Marketing
Retailers are facing intense competition for a diminishing share of their customer’s wallet, and this challenge has become more pronounced in markets facing deflationary pressures. Although promotions are an important element of increasing sales, there is an excessive reliance on deep discounts that not only harm the bottom line but
We are approaching the end of the year and we wanted to say goodbye to 2015 by doing a wrap-up webinar, reviewing the Retail trends that have been dominating this year, and more importantly, giving actionable insights and recommendations to retailers based on what we have learnt along with the predictions
Beacons are tiny low-powered radio transmitters that send signals to phones just feet away. The point of the devices is to send a specific signal, using low-energy Bluetooth, to phones that come into proximity, as long as those phones are running apps that can respond to the beacon. Those codes
We are experiencing a new consumer omnichannel age where innovation is no longer a nice-to-have in any sales channel, but a must-have. This innovation must be especially leading in physical stores, where sales will count for over 95% of total sales worldwide in coming years. Therefore, POS solutions need to
Last two weeks were very exciting. Following hard work during the last few months, we finally went live on Monday 15th with our revamped Openbravo website and new offering. Thanks to the team for their involvement and great job! A totally new website, with a fresh and modern design, mobile ready,
Hi all, My name is Pablo Rueda and I started just a few weeks ago at Openbravo. I’ll be honest with you, I was going to write one of those blog posts about our products, benefits, features and so on. But I thought of doing something different. There are many
Organizations today face new markets, new competition and ever-increasing customer expectations. To be competitive you need to “Be differentiated” and here is where choosing the right ERP comes in, as it’s key because it will help you “Be differentiated” both because of your ERP and in the way that you
My colleague Antonio explained in his post the performance of the server side component in the Openbravo solution for Retail. Now let’s take a look on the client side part, What happens when you’re selling and your network goes down? How much time can you work in offline mode? Imagine you have a store in […]
Then Openbravo retail is for you! Wouldn’t it be cool if your business generated 2 billion order lines per year? Probably it doesn’t do it in your case, but still, wouldn’t it be nice if the retail solution you use could handle that load, even if it’s not exactly required? As we put the final […]
As we engage with customers and prospects, we clearly see that as they grow, a lot of small to medium sized businesses end up supplementing their hard-to-change, legacy ERP back office systems with a complex patchwork of:
- “best of breed” applications,
- point solutions purchased by end users,
- external portals,
- spreadsheets, etc.,
… in an attempt to reactively respond to the real needs of the business. This is called a “best practice” by the legacy vendors and system integrators who have a vested interest in maintaining the status quo.
But there is clearly a better way.
A “Future Proof ERP” puts a change-ready business application platform at the center of your business, enabling you to get rid of that complex mess, and deploy all or most of your required functionality natively in the web based ERP.
To communicate this clearly, I created a brief video called (1) “What is a Future Proof ERP?“, which addresses the topic in a practical way, and demonstrates three ways in which Openbravo 3 is future proof, today.
So take a few minutes and check it out. If this video strikes a cord, you will probably also be interested in our new (2) technology page. Finally, if you need help getting your company ready to face 2012 and beyond, please fill out this (3) registration form for a free consultation with an Openbravo expert.
