BARCELONA, Spain – 20th March 2013 - Openbravo, the leading web-based open source business management solutions provider, today announced that its business management software revenues have increased by 65% in the past year. Growth has been particularly remarkable in emerging markets, such as Brazil, China, India, and México, as well as in the Middle East. In 2012 turnover of Openbravo in international markets represented 75% of the total, which confirms the rapid growth of Openbravo's presence worldwide.

“The reason for our growth over the past year is that companies increasingly value the flexibility and the competitive cost of Openbravo’s business applications. Unlike other traditional solutions, our business management software is cloud-ready, open source – putting the customer in full control of the solution - and easy to scale. These features make it the best choice for all those companies that are competing in today’s demanding and constantly changing marketplace and need to do so in an agile way to stay competitive. This need is very apparent for those companies that are growing their business internationally. In all these cases business agility and flexibility are key and with Openbravo this is possible to achieve in an affordable manner”, said Andreu Bartolí, Vice President of Channel Operations at Openbravo.

Openbravo's continued success is demonstrated also by the large number of new customers that signed up in 2012, which has increased by 70%. Openbravo has customers in a wide range of industries, yet with very significant presence in the Retail sector (for example, Decathlon India, BUT in France and Offerum in Spain), and Distribution (for example, SAIC, a U.S. company listed on the FORTUNE500®). Openbravo has more than 6,500 organizations using its solutions to manage their businesses.

The company, which has a community of 16,000 developers all around the globe and a network of 130 official Partners that provide services in 60 countries, has also opened a new office in México which is another strong sign of the momentum Openbravo is experiencing in the expansion of its international presence.
