"Openbravo already has a name among the biggest open source projects around the world". This was one of the points emphasized in Actualidad Económica's February 1st article about Openbravo. The article was in the section of "Spanish technological leaders", as they spotlighted companies with a strong international focus. Furthermore, after holding an interview with Manel Sarasa, Openbravo CEO, they pointed Openbravo as pioneers in the new business model of open source software.

Also, in its previous edition, the magazine published an article about open source software, which featured Galenicum (an Openbravo client). In the article the company discussed how open source software, specifically Openbravo, has had a positive impact on the management of its business.
