Sodena invests 5 million euros in Openbravo
On January 19, 2006, Sodena agreed to invest five million euros over the next three years in Openbravo, an open source ERP solution for SMEs (Small and Midsize Enterprises) worldwide.
Sodena believes that this investment not only enhances and strengthens their portfolio, but also views Openbravo as a possible catalyst for the technology development society in Navarra, Spain. Additionally, Sodena envisions that Openbravo's future global success will help attract new talent and businesses to the region.
Openbravo's web-based extended ERP solution is very user-friendly and includes all functionalities required to integrate the management of a company: procurement, warehouse management, project and services management, manufacturing, CRM, accounting & finance, and business intelligence. Openbravo has already provided its solution to many companies in the distribution, services and manufacturing industries. Openbravo's code will be made public in April 2006.
As an open source solution, Openbravo offers a flexible, and affordable platform which can be customized to meet specific needs of each SME, without hindering in achieving their full potential.
