The awards were presented by LinuxWorld.com and IDG World Expo in San Francisco this week to recognize product and service innovations. Openbravo was awarded with the prize for 'Best Integration Solution'.
Openbravo, which unveiled several new partner, community and interoperability initiatives at San Francisco, is attending the conference and exhibition as part of the Open Solutions Alliance's Interoperability Showcase.
Manel Sarasa, CEO of Openbravo said, "We believe deeply in open source and application interoperability, which is one of the reasons we are so committed to the Open Solutions Alliance and are so excited to be part of the OSA's demonstration of its Common Customer View (CCV) interoperability prototype at LinuxWorld this week."
"We have seen a very high number of downloads since we went live on SourceForge," continued Manel Sarasa. "We have reached 250,000 downloads and are on track to reach 500,000 in a short amount of time. Our solution is easy to install and is designed to ensure high availability and performance. Winning 'Best Integration Solution' is a great endorsement of our interoperability, our approach to distributed computing and to the commitment from our community."
"LinuxWorld is the main event of the open source calendar and the perfect opportunity to demonstrate our latest version to the market, and to get involved in the buzz of new technologies. We are also excited about talking to the community about our plans for future growth and the continued leadership of Openbravo."

The latest version of Openbravo is available for download and community feedback at SourceForge. This new version builds on the modules and capabilities of the popular ERP system, which has been downloaded more than 250,000 times, and includes new features such as a greatly improved user interface and navigation; a revised accounting module; integration with JasperReports; new message management processes; revised data alerts; improved source code management and single sign-on capabilities.
