Openbravo will soon work with PostgreSQL
Openbravo developers are in the final stages of testing release 2.11 of Openbravo for PostgreSQL, a well-known open source relational database. This new capability is expected to be available by early August 2006.
After quite a few requests from the Openbravo community to support the ability to work with an open source database we have made an important effort to include this facility. With the newly added capability, customers looking for an ERP with a complete open source stack will be able to find it with Openbravo.

PostgreSQL has demonstrated it is a very powerful and robust solution, and is able to support the full suite PostgreSQL Elephantof Openbravo's functionalities. You can read about the additional advantages of PostgreSQL on their website (http://www.postgresql.org/about/advantages).
