Openbravo Unveils New Partner Program
Openbravo provides sneak preview of unique new partner program and demonstrates the latest version of its software with several new modules and capabilities.
Hannover, Germany - 15-21 March, 2007 - Openbravo, the leading open source enterprise management solution, will present its new best-in-class partner program at this year's CeBIT, the world's largest trade fair showcasing digital IT and telecommunications solutions for home and work environments.
Openbravo's new and fully-formed partner program is expected to become a model for others within the Open Source community.
Openbravo will be at Hall 5, in the Linuxpark area, at Stand F58/2, where the company will also be demonstrating the latest version of its web-based, open source ERP solution which is designed specifically for small and medium businesses, Openbravo 2.2.
Lluís Llavina, Channel Manager, Openbravo said: "We carried out an exhaustive survey of partner programs from leading open source groups and proprietary solutions from different areas. This allowed us to identify several windows of opportunity for innovation, consistency and attractiveness".
Llavina continued, "With this new partner program, we will provide a new framework for a categorized approach to the sales channel which is simple but powerful; complete, scalable, flexible and easy to understand. It will also provide consistent rules and principles to minimize channel conflicts". The new partner program has been built in a scalable manner allowing it to grow without having to modify the overall framework, making it easier for partners to follow-up on the evolution of the program and ongoing new products and service releases.
On the other side, Manel Sarasa, CEO of Openbravo, said: "We've created this new partner program primarily to support Openbravo partners over the lifecycle of our relationship, helping them to build success stories. We have defined different sets of products and services that best fit their needs in each different phase / stage of the business (ex. pre-sales, lead generation, implementation, maintenance, expanding own skills, etc.). We expect this new program to be at the forefront of our 2007 expansion, growing from 20 partners concentrated in Spain to having more than 100 worldwide and helping us to get introduced in consolidated markets such as the German one".
This new partner program will replace Openbravo's existing "Friendly Partner" program starting 9th of April.
