Openbravo signs a new strategic partnership with Veloton
-Openbravo makes a strategic alliance with Veloton to successfully enter the German market. On March 5th, as part of the CeBIT conference, Veloton will be present at the Openbravo stand to discuss open source solutions with interested German companies-
Hannover, Germany - 4-9 March, 2008- Openbravo, the leading developer of web-based open source Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Point-of-Sale (POS) solutions for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), will be introducing during CeBIT its new strategic partnership with Veloton Braunsmann/Haastert oHG, a company belonging to the Medienhaus Ahlen Group. "Since its inception, Openbravo has been committed to innovation, quality, cost-effectiveness and adoption of open source worldwide. At CeBIT 2008, we look forward to introducing our new partner 'Veloton', which will significantly help us to successfully introduce our catalogue of products into the German market", said Lluis Llavina, Channel Management Director of Openbravo.
Markus Haastert, CEO of Veloton said: "The strategic partnership with Openbravo will allow us to offer a modern open source ERP-System in Germany. Openbravo is the first open source system that includes all necessary functionality for SMEs. We will take an active part in the process of Openbravo becoming the leading open source ERP worldwide."
Openbravo will be located at Hall 5 in the LinuxPark area, at Stand F58/2. Veloton will be present on March 5th at the Openbravo stand to discuss with all German companies interested in implementing Openbravo. Also, on March 6th at 5.15 pm, as part of CeBIT's 'SaaS Day', Openbravo will be speaking on the topic of "Virtual Appliances: An option for SaaS" at the LinuxForum at LinuxPark.
