It is official. Openbravo r2.11 has been published on SourceForge - and we have upgraded the online demo to the new stable version. Openbravo developers finished testing the previous (beta) version and made a few minor changes before publishing the stable version. Changes from the last stable release include: the addition of new modules ... enhancement of others, enabling of WebServices, adjustments to the interface, improvements to the Openbravo MDA model, new documentation to help out the community and bug repairs.

- Modules - Improved and new modules include: Debt/Payment Management, Commission, Carriers, Manufacturing and Budget.
- WebServices - Due to popular demand, Openbravo now permits interaction with other services, such as POS and virtual stores.
- Interface - We have taken strides toward a better interface by standardizing manually generated text, enabling better language translations and additional filters.
- Openbravo MDA Model - The enhanced Openbravo MDA model now has better functionality, resulting in making development time more efficient.
- Documentation - While working on the release, the team has written a number of guides and tutorials:
- Translation Guide: a how-to guide on various procedures necessary for translating Openbravo, such as the creation of language packs
- Tutorials on XmlEngine, SQLC, creating new windows, entities and importing account files. (alternate path: Product > Technology > Documentation)
- Bugs - Last, but not least ... many of the bugs reported by the community (and detected by our own developers) have been fixed.
