Openbravo launches European Recruiting Program
Openbravo is seeking to add the best and brightest to its rapidly expanding team
Pamplona, Spain and Cambridge, Massachusetts - June 23, 2008 - Openbravo, the leading developer of web-based open source Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Point-of-Sale (PoS) solutions, has announced its first European Recruiting Program.
Openbravo, whose success is based on high-quality products and services, a powerful business plan and a team of highly experienced professionals, has been undergoing tremendous and explosive growth in all aspects of the company. Downloads, the key measure of open source software, have grown to over 650,000 on leading open source software repository SourceForge. Openbravo has hundreds of implementations, a partner network growing internationally in over 40 countries, an active community and has been awarded with prestigious prizes. Investors recognized this growth and in May 2008 awarded the company with $12 million in second round funding by Amadeus Capital Partners, GIMV and Adara Venture Partners.
Openbravo is looking to recruit candidates from top tier technical universities across Europe. The European Recruiting Program is aimed at students in their final year of information technology (IT) studies and recent graduates with IT or software degrees. The best candidates will be invited to take part in Openbravo's three week long training program, specially designed to combine business knowledge with IT skills, enabling participants to gain knowledge on all aspects relating to the world of Openbravo and ERP in general. Candidates completing this training successfully will be offered a permanent position at Openbravo in their area of study and professional interest (1).
