Barcelona, Spain - 6th October, 2008 - Openbravo, the leading developer of web-based open source Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Point of Sale (PoS) solutions for enterprises, has been awarded by Spanish business magazine Capital in the Innovation Category.

The top ranked companies of Navarra are featured in Capital's latest issue, a special which focuses on Pamplona's booming business sector. Openbravo, appearing in the Technology Section, is recognized alongside other respectable companies such as Volkswagen, Acciona and CINFA.

The article goes on to describe how Openbravo is competing with the likes of ERP giants SAP, Microsoft and Sage. The piece also quotes Eugeni Vives, Professional Services Director at Openbravo, who proclaims the company's ambition "to become the world leader in the (SME) segment".
