Openbravo announces its fully integration with Tina POS
Openbravo announces that Tina POS - an open source-point of sale application designed for touch screens - became fully integrated with Openbravo.
Since its inception, Openbravo has encouraged the integration of its ERP solution with other applications, so that companies may enjoy a complete suite of products and improve enterprise management at the same time. With the aim of having integration with other point of sale applications, Openbravo developed an interface that was already included in Openbravo ERP r2.10.
OpenTrends, an Openbravo strategic partnership, developed the Tina POS interface for the Melinux Project - an initiative from the Autonomic City of Melilla to distribute Linux among its community. In addition, it has been adapted and incorporated to Tina POS and, therefore, it is already available on its latest version, Tina POS 0.0.22.
The integration between Openbravo and Tina POS results highly appealing to the retail sector, because it allows their companies to handle enterprise management and points of sale in an easy and integrated way.
Tina POS is the most popular point of sale in its segment, with more than 75,000 downloads since its launching on January 2005.
Tina POS can be downloaded from SourceForge and the related integration document can be found in our wiki.
