Pamplona, Spain - November 21st, 2007 - Openbravo, the developer of the leading professional web-based open source ERP and POS solutions designed specifically for small and medium businesses, is expanding its training offering to include newly acquired Librepos, formerly Tina POS, which has been re-branded as Openbravo POS.
"Based on the requests we received during our recent worldwide 'Get Together' event, as well as the market's needs ahead of us, one of our top priorities has been to provide Partners and anyone interested in Openbravo POS with the right tools to get up to speed on our new offering. Participants will be able to tap into the leading open source Point-of-Sale solution and the important market opportunity it represents. Today, the training to make it happen is available to anyone." said Andreu Bartolí, Partner Operations Director.
The training will take place in Madrid on December 17th-18th (in Spanish) and on December 19th-20th (in English). Participants will learn how to successfully install, customize and use Openbravo POS in a 2 days class-room training. The integration between two best of breed programs (Openbravo ERP and Openbravo POS) allows Openbravo partners to provide a fully integrated ERP solution for distribution oriented businesses, and thus to further expand their grip on the open source ERP market by offering solutions previously inaccessible.
The training program is part of a larger initiative by Openbravo to support ERP open source adoption worldwide by increasing the knowledge and capabilities of system integrators which also includes other important training initiatives taking place in December 2007 such as:
