Openbravo announces first dedicated event for community and partners
- Openbravo 'Get Together' to be held 26-28 October, 2007 -
Pamplona - September 26, 2007 - Openbravo, the leading developer of web-based open source Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions for small and medium businesses, has announced the first dedicated event for the Openbravo community and partners.
The event, the Openbravo 'Get Together', will be held from 26 to 28 October in Barcelona, Spain.
Consisting of a series of conferences and workshops, the event will kick off on Friday, 26 October with a focus on partners and the community, with in-depth workshops and seminars exploring market opportunities, projects and successes.
Activities on Friday will be exclusive to partners, however, over Saturday and Sunday, the events will be open and free to all community members and interested members of the media.
The Saturday events will highlight presentation topics relating to how Openbravo opens the world of ERP and business opportunities for the community. Entitled 'Business and Experience', it will review opportunities and success stories of Openbravo implementations across different types of businesses and industries.
The third and final day on Sunday will feature discussions based on Openbravo's Technology, including plans for extending the software and an introduction to a proposed new architecture.
The Openbravo 'Get Together' is designed to coincide with several training sessions. For an introduction to Openbravo, a four day Basic Functional training course is offered from Monday, 22 October to Thursday, 25 October. For users interested in delving deeper into Openbravo, a five-day Customizing & Basic Development course is offered from 29 October to 2 November. For advanced developers, a five-day Advanced Development course is offered from 5 to 9 November.
