Openbravo has been selected by the European Tech Tour Association to participate in the Spanish Tech Tour 2007, an event that brings together the 25 most promising start-ups in Spain and more than 50 key representatives from the technological and the international venture capital scene. The event will take place May 23-25, in Madrid and Valencia (Spain), where the 25 finalists will present their companies and products to well known professionals from Europe, US and Asia.

The Selection committee is comprised of 15 seasoned professionals from the Spanish high tech space, including venture capitalists, heads of technology transfer centres, key players at research centres, members of bodies dedicated to economic promotion within this country, as well as successful technology entrepreneurs. The Vice President of the Spanish Tech Tour in charge of the Selection Committee added, “We are excited about the Spanish Tech Tour as it is the perfect opportunity to showcase the huge wealth of technological research and development, as well as the strong entrepreneurial spirit that exist in Spain”.

Focusing on the global expansion of high growth start ups, the mission of the European Tech Tour Association (ETTA) is to provide the leading independent platform specifically tailored to identifying the most promising high tech start ups in a country that have the potential to impact the global technology landscape.
