Position Overview
Openbravo strives to ensure that the implementation and use of Openbravo ERP results in a simple and satisfactory experience for our clients and in a profitable business for our implementation partners around the globe. In order to do this, we offer a portfolio of solutions & services designed to fit their needs.
To further strengthen our Global Solution & Services delivery we are currently seeking a talented professional to join us in our Pamplona or Barcelona office. He/She will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the unit, coordinating our Training, 2nd Level Support, and Custom Development teams. This position involves active participation to prepare the Global Solution & Services Unit to meet the goals of the business plan and increase the quality of services delivered, through the implementation of the right processes and mindset in the organization, as well as through the build-up of the right team of professionals.
Position responsibilities
The function of Solutions & Services Director has the following key areas of responsibility:
  • Provide leadership & coordination of the Solutions & Services Unit designing, refining and implementing strategic plans, processes and coordination mechanisms.
  • Manage packages, mail and other courier services.
  • Assess and identify additional business opportunities for the unit, together with the input from the Sales and Business Development units.
  • Oversee and manage the projects and workflows of the unit, including capacity planning and strategic allocation of resources for the Training, 2nd Level Support, and Custom Development teams.
  • Develop and manage annual budget of the unit.
  • Generate organizational improvements that will enhance success; develop best-in-class operations standards; coach and motivate the team to produce outstanding results and achievements.
  • Manage all human resources related activities: hiring of staff; policies compliance and employee evaluations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Position requirements
  • 6+ years operations leadership and management experience, ideally within the software industry.
  • Process mapping and metrics development/monitoring experience is required, as is experience developing and maintaining standard operating procedures.
  • A problem solver, able to challenge and question. Able to identify, develop and present process improvements.
  • Overseeing project delivery and ensuring healthy client relationships.
  • Excellent self-starter level and thriving in a extremely dynamic business environment.
  • Results driven, proven trajectory of continuously meeting and exceeding business objectives.
  • Effective people management and motivational leadership.
  • Outstanding and effective communication skills (written and oral English and Spanish is a must; knowledge of other languages will be highly valuated).
  • Extensive international experience and availability for frequent travel is a must.
  • BA/BS or equivalent, MBA a plus.
