Senior Channel Manager
Position Overview
Openbravo is looking for exceptional candidates for the role of Senior Channel Manager. The final candidate should have 3+ years proved experience in Channel Management and Indirect Sales related activities. Experience within the ERP solutions business (either implementing or selling services around them) will be considered a plus. He/she should be willing to take an important role in the expansion of an international network of qualified Openbravo partners while leading sales efforts and actions to close additional strategic projects. To that extend, candidates should be ready to leverage their experience in different fields like Channel Management, Sales, the ERP solutions business or the Open Source new generation of applications as well as in the management of sales-related issues in other companies (preferentially IT software enterprises). We currently require candidates to work in our office located in Barcelona (Spain). There will also be the option of moving in a near future to other offices to be opened in top-tier cities in other countries.
Position Responsibilities
The function of Senior Channel Manager has the following key areas of responsibility:
- Make Openbravo network of partners grow worldwide, which includes, among other activities, identifying qualified new potential partners and negotiating business terms or specific commercial agreements with third parties.
- Expand and improve current partner program and the corresponding value proposition to partners, which includes, among others, carrying on different analysis and benchmarks around competitors' best-practices and defining new products and services to be offered to partners.
- Proactively provide feedback to all involved Openbravo departments to constantly improve overall sales performance.
Position Requirements
- 3+ years proved experience in Channel Management and Indirect Sales related activities. Knowledge within the ERP solutions business (either implementing or selling them) would be considered a plus. SME experience will also be taken into account.
- Results-oriented team player with willingness and motivation to grow professionally in a very entrepreneurial project with a high-potential.
- Good communication skills (written and oral English is a must; knowledge of other languages will be highly valuated).
- Good management skills (both organizational and leadership wise).
- Business processes global understanding.
- Ability to gain strong product knowledge is a plus.
- BS or MS in Engineering, Computer Science and/or equivalent work experience.
