Global Marketing Director
Position Overview
Openbravo is looking for exceptional candidates for the role of Global Marketing Director.
This role will report directly to the CEO. The role is responsible for driving growth strategy of Openbravo for the next 3 or 4 years and will own the overall Marketing strategy. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience in marketing ERP or other Business Applications and also proven success and clear vision on marketing through Web 2.0 strategy and tools. The goal of this position is to develop both the global client base and business partners network. The person will design and execute the Openbravo online strategy, owning website and all social marketing initiatives, from blogging and micro-blogging, to social networks, communities, mailings, etc. The candidate should have proven ability to track results and demonstrate return on investment and will also work closely with the Channel Business Managers to support business partners in their marketing activities.
We currently require candidates to work in our office located in Barcelona (Spain).
 
Position responsibilities
The function of Global Marketing Director has the following key areas of responsibility:
  • Own the overall Marketing strategy for Openbravo
  • Design and execute the Openbravo online strategy, owning Openbravo website and all social marketing initiatives
  • Design and build the channel marketing programs and the partner portal to support these programs
  • Sales/Channel Enablement, Tools and Training in line with the corporate marketing and competitive strategy
  • Design and build a complete set of marketing and sales tools that are created to support the full sales life cycle of Openbravo and its Business Partners
  • Leverage the Openbravo website, owning and driving the web content, to attract highly qualified prospects and to increase the conversion of qualified leads into sales
  • Define and manage lead generation programs with proven ability to track conversation results and a demonstrated ROI
  • Work closely with Channel Business Managers to identify key business partners for joint marketing planning and execution
  • Create processes and demonstrate effective project management skills to drive execution
  • Establish metrics for success, interpret campaign results and identify areas for improvement
  • Identify risks and assess appropriate contingency plans; help Openbravo and Partner teams respond to unexpected change.
Position requirements
  • 5+ years proven experience in professional marketing preferably within the ERP solutions business. Experience with Small and Midsized Businesses is a plus.
  • Experience of Web 2.0 and Social networking marketing.
  • Experience in designing and managing successful lead generation programs.
  • A track record of meeting and exceeding targets with proven ability to track results and demonstrate return on investment.
  • Results-oriented team player with willingness and motivation to grow professionally in a very entrepreneurial project.
  • Good communication skills (written and oral English and Spanish is a must; knowledge of other languages will be highly valuated).
  • Good management skills (both organizational and leadership wise).
  • Strong analytical thinking, with strong creativity and innovation skills.
  • Solid understanding and capability to design marketing related processes.
  • Ability to gather ERP product knowledge.
  • BS or MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Adminsitration, and/or equivalent work experience in marketing and/or sales.
