When implementing an Openbravo ERP system, SIs and Consultants have an unprecedented number of opportunities available to them to assist their clients improve additional processes in their organizations. Thanks to the advent of simple to use BPM systems like ProcessMaker, consultants can now offer additional value added services post their ERP implementations and leverage their existing customer relationships to generate more value for the customer and more revenue for the SI. There are lots of opportunities: companies are looking to create compliant processes, improve exception handling, automate processes that feed the core ERP, etc. And for each of these processes they want to improve performance, simulate, automate, and monitor them. This conference will look at how you can "discover" these additional process automation needs and unleash new business opportunities through BPM implementations.

Innovation in Openbravo & Product Roadmap

This session will provide a perspective of Openbravo's development activities. Starting with a content review for the latest 2.40 release and the lessons learned in the process, the session will conclude with a high level description of the targeted functionalities and enhancements for the next 2.50 release. Attendees' feedback will be solicited to help understand the community's most pressing needs as to prioritize features and enhancements appropriately.

Openbravo's Community Services and Vision

An exploration of Openbravo's community services including forums, source control system, bug tracking system, forums, Wiki, weblogs and IRC. We will get into the detail of how they work and what are they useful for. We also will explain how to contribute to Openbravo projects and the different mechanisms available to communicate with other community members.
Brian Reale is the co-founder and CEO of Colosa Inc., the developer of
ProcessMaker® - a leading Commercial Open Source Workflow and Business Process Management Software. The ProcessMaker client list includes the World Bank, the IFC, Willis Insurance Brokers, ITAU, and other leading companies in telecom, oil and gas, and the energy sector. Mr. Reale has more than 12 years experience starting and growing high tech companies. In 1997, Mr. Reale founded Unete Telecom (www.unete.bo) - a Long Distance Telecom and Satellite Services Company in Bolivia which is now one of the largest suppliers of rural voice and data services. Mr. Reale has published several articles, including a paper on the Bolivian telecommunications industry written for the World Economic Forum in 2002, and “VoIP Market Opportunities in the Developing World,” (November 2004 CICT). Mr. Reale graduated magna cum laude from Duke University in 1993 and was a Fullbright Scholar in Ecuador in 1994.
