This session will give a broad overview to participants on how the world of software is changing and how Openbravo is a key enabler of this change in the ERP space. Topics included are: Key trends in the software world; The ERPs market opportunity; Openbravo's business model; results so far; future plans; and an interactive Q&A session with all participants.

   This session will give a broad overview to participants on how IT companies can build a professional business practice around Openbravo ERP and POS, and the benefits of doing it partnerning with Openbravo. An interactive Q&A session with all participants will be included.

   This session will be an open discussion giving to participants the opportunity to give their opinion regarding what should be the priorities of Openbravo as a company in the short- and mid-term future. This will be done by reviewing the areas of: the market, the product and the services offered by Openbravo. This session will be hold in 3 different groups, one by each area mentioned above, and each of them moderated by an Openbravo Management Team member.

   This session will give participants the opportunity to ask and comment on any Openbravo related topic directly to a panel of Openbravo Executive Committee members. This will allow the participants to gain an understanding of the overall strategy of Openbravo as a company and meet the people responsible for "opening ERP's future".

   This session will provide a perspective of Openbravo development activities. Starting from a review of the contents in the new 2.40 release (in alpha status) and the lessons learnt in the process, the session will conclude with a high level description of the targeted functionalities and enhancements for the next 2.50 release. We will solicit your feedback to help us better understand what is important to our community and prioritize features appropriately.

   Adapting a product to a local market is a very long process that involves meeting technical requirements, legal requirements but also local functional requirements and business processes. We will explain how the Openbravo localization process works from a high level.

   One of the coolest improvements in the 2.40 release is the capacity to create Industry Templates that will dramatically reduce the implementation cost and time of Openbravo. During this session Industry Templates will be presented from a theoretical and practical point of view: concepts behind, what you can include within an Industry Template, how to create and distribute Industry Templates, how to maintain them, ...

   An exploration of Openbravo's community services including forums, source control system, bug tracking system, forums, Wiki, weblogs and IRC. We will get into the detail of how they work and what are they useful for. We also will explain how to contribute to Openbravo projects and the different mechanisms available to communicate with other community members.
